Honest mentoring only happens when people know their conversations are private. Skilvate limits who can see what, keeps session content between the people in it, and gives every member control over their AI settings and account.
What Skilvate does today to keep mentorship conversations and member data private.
Every page and API call goes over HTTPS, and sign-in sessions use secure cookies that scripts on the page can't read.
Mentees, mentors and admins each see what their role needs, and only in the programs they belong to. The server checks this on every request.
Agendas, notes and recaps are visible only to the mentor and mentee. Program admins see who met, when and for how long — not what was said.
Members choose which AI features to use, can edit their profile, and can delete their account from their settings.
Approvals, suspensions, role changes and other admin actions are recorded with who made them and when.
Connections, access, the services we use, and what members control.
Every connection to Skilvate uses HTTPS, and sign-in sessions use secure cookies that scripts on the page can't read. The server checks each request against the person's role and the programs they belong to, and the database is backed up every night. If your review needs details such as encryption at rest or where the service is hosted, book a call and we'll go through them with you.
Members see the programs they belong to. Program admins see their programs' members, applications, pairings and session times, but not what's said in a session: agendas, notes and recaps stay with the mentor and mentee. Admin changes, such as approvals and suspensions, are recorded with who made them.
Sign-in runs on Google Firebase, video calls run on Daily, and the AI coach uses Google's Gemini models. Book a call if your review needs details about any of them.
Yes. Members can edit their profile, choose which AI features to use, and delete their account from their settings.
If the questions above don't cover a requirement, book a demo and we'll go through it with you.
